In a recent live session at KEXP in Seattle, Death Cab For Cutie‘s Ben Gibbard covered House Of Hassle artist Alvvays‘ “Archie, Marry Me” for a live audience. He refers to the song as “my favorite song from last year.” A great pick if you ask us. Have a listen to his version here:

Steve Marion covers “Wild World” and it’s used in promos of “The Returned” on A&E

House Of Hassle writer Steve Marion (of Delicate Steve and Saint Rich) recently composed his own version of Cat Steven’s “Wild World.” A&E are featuring it in new promos for the network’s remake of the incredibly popular (and fantastic) French TV show The Returned. Steve had Cassandra Jenkins lay down the vocal for it. Even though “Wild World” is not a House Of Hassle copy-write, we’re still quite excited about arranging this re-record.
